Abuela a never ending love

Samia this was when you were born mami one day would tell you why I look so bad!

Samia here is abuela feeding you when you were days old

Samia as you can see she is always taking care of you like she took care of me one more reason to love and adore and take care of your abuela always.

Samia you are growing too too fast now we play many games...mainly talking back an forth lately we are counting the days since Abuela is coming to visit us. You have a list of things you want to do with her and it goes somewhere on the lines of.

Abuela is going to sleep with me.

Abuela is going to take me to chuck and cheese -- this one had a little bit of dialog I told her yes Abuela is going to take you...you paused look at me and said mami you are going to drive -- I said no Abuela would take you and then all of a sudden you said...Wow mami driving is hard.

I do have to admit while we were camping Samia you got to drive the car within the camping ground...I remember Abuelo sitting me in his lap while he was driving slowly -- so in the camping ground I let you drive well so you think, more like in my lap while we were driving 5 mph inside the camping ground (wow hopefully someone does not call Social Services on me).

Samia you also want abuela to cook with you.

Abuela is going to play hooch pock like you call it and also play with your plants.

I love that abuela is coming -- I know many moms outhere feel the same way I feel when Abuela comes and I see how my nenas run to her and abuelas face lights up. Is hard to explain all the feelings I feel when I see how my kids make my mom happy I feel happiness, proud, love is one of those sensations that can not be express only felt.

I guess it all bottoms out how we always want to make our parents happy not matter how old we are or what stage of our life we are in.

The Mistery has being resolved!

Nenas I loved what I saw today...it just made me so happy to see the two of you helping each other. Well let me go back and explained how it all happen.

For the past week I think, I have being finding Gamila in top of my bed all of a sudden I will walk into the room and Wallah she is in top of the bed. How can this happen she is a midget, if you want to see a petite little girl that is my Milo I know she is sneaky and very very fast and we call her Houdini, but the bed come on there is no way.

So the last days I am always going to the room when I don't see her around, because I figure she is in top of the bed plus I am afraid she is going to fall off it since she is also fearless. I did not put too much mind into it, I figure she was putting her foot in the bed base rail and then push herself up.

However today I discover she has help from another little person SAMIA. When I was washing the dishes I did not hear them at all so I go to the room walking very softly and I find Samia grabbing Milo by the waist pushing her up. The best part is that Gamila helps her by grabbing the comforter and pushing her self up. It was just so beautiful seeing the two of them helping each other, it was just beautiful how at this little age they are already helping each other.

Nenas lately also in the car the only thing that Gamila does is laugh at Samia's very very silly faces. She just cracks up and Samia enjoys making her little sister laugh.

Gracias nenas and keep this up this is the start of many more and bigger jobs that the two of you would do together.
Mashallah for sister....Although I don't have a sister and the one that I had is gone now. Sisters are the best, better than a best friend!!!!!!!

Love is Reciprocal

ABUELA PUTTING MAMI TO SLEEP

So I remember growing up listening to Abuela say "Da amor para recibir amor" it goes something like "Give love to receive love"
Today I experience it....Samia is only 33 months.. 33 months mami has showed her love however is more like 42 months mami has shared love with her.

Today while I was giving her a bath, I decided to sit in her stool, I tried to move pushing the stool, but I had forgotten the legs are made of rubber so they don't slide, I fell of the stool. I did not hurt myself but Samia saw my facial expression and she got so scared. She was telling me in such a worry and desperate voice "Mami you ok! Mami you okey?" I could tell by her tone of voice she was so scared. At this point tears came down, when she saw me crying she wanted to jump out of the tub to run to me. I had to start laughing and making fun of silly mami.

Today I saw how much my baby girl loves me already!!!!!!! Gracias Dios por darme lo que tengo una bella familia. Gracias Abuela por enzenarme todo lo que se!!!!!

Happy Birthday Mami

So it was mami's birthday today.  The day went well the only thing I missed the most was that baba was not able to spend the day with us, but well that is life, on the other hand I was able to spend the day with veyr dear friends....but the greatest thing is to hear Samia say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMI

Today I received a special item that I will always take with me and it would be an honor to put it in our first home.

Nenas always remember to be detallistas (I don't know how to say this in english), as girls always try to be in top of special occasions is very important, it makes you more femenine, always remember others birthdays and give them a little card or a note or sing to them Happy Birthday...be caring is a beautiful thing....
Between the two of you always be special to each other and more on the day of each others birthdays.  As the years go by I want each of you to know that the day of Samia's birthday Gamila is going to do something great for her sister and viceversa...  You are in this world to love each other and take care of each other no matter how old you are.

Happy Birthday,Feliz Cumpleanos, Kolo Santa Wenty Taeba Gamila (Milo)

So is official you are 1 year old yeppy yeppy....

Gamila you have change my life in so many ways. I learn what is to have a very active baby, needy and clingy baby...and I love every single minute of it.

I love to see you standing up in your crib when I walk in in the
morning and you look at me with those beautiful eyes and those
curls all over the place.

I love when you say tete.

I love when you give me a bossa.
I Love to see how you giggle with your sister.

I love the fact that it takes me 10 minutes to put your pamper on.

I love when I have to carry you around when I am doing the vacuum cleaning.

I love to see you get into every possible hole we ha e in the house.

I love when you try to play Houdini.

I love to see you get mad when we take something away from you.

I love to see you smile when mami or baba are silly.

I love when you put your thumb in your mouth and grab your blanket to go to sleep.

I love to give you a bath and see you playing with the water.

But most important I love the fact that you are my daughter.

Today the two of you have being up since early Oh and Samia you want to be call the birthday girl as well, you are so little that you don't know understand, mami also bought you a little gift so you will not be left out.

I made the cake. The process started at around 9:00 AM and finish it about 1:30 PM between taking care of the kids, baking and decorating it turn out to be a very very long process. First I did a drawing to have an idea of the colors and the position, then I kind of mark where each cake would go in the cardboard.

Then I bake the cake well I actually had to do two batches since I only had 3 containers I did not want to spend an outrageous amount in the pans so I look and look till I found some that were similar. I also put more batter in some and in some less to make a little different side balls. I try to follow her toy that she likes. For the decorating I had an idea of the colors. The icing was whipped cream since I dislike the one that is so sweet so I mixed the colors till I got the shades I wanted.

For dinner I made spaghetti's since I know both of the girls like it. We waited for baba to come we had dinner then we cut the cake but the girls enjoy so much the cake that they had to go and take showers right away. Then we opened the gifts, it was a great day with the girls.

How did it started!!!

2002
It all started in New York City, makes sense the only place where a Colombian born and an Egyptian born could meet. Love at first sight (in a way from his part so he says, it took me more than a few dates). Although I have to say Yehia came down from the sky, Lo necesitaba como loca (I needed him like crazy). After living in New York for a couple of years, finishing school, a successful job, but many relationships that left me heartbroken, Yehia was what I needed.
