Happy and sick times at Abu's

I don't have much energy to type...unfortanatly I got sick with the Influenza A I think I catch in the plane, since the lady next to me was coughing none stop.  I ended up visiting the hosptial because the fever was extremely high.  I was giving the Tamiflu and I have to keep my fever under control so the baby would not be affected.

Thank God Abuela, Nono and Tio Fabio have being helping me with the kids, here are a few pictures of the last couple of days.

Miami what a bussy agenda

So on Saturday we arrrived, las nenas did more than good in the plane, it was a breeze, I am so proud of my two gorditas.  Samia was very anxious of seeing  Abuela when she saw her in the gate she was beyond happiness she run to her it shows that talking about Abuela all the time and putting her on the phone does create a bond.

At Tio Fabio's house and I finally got to meet Charlie he is just gorgeous and such a good baby reminds me of Samia and also holding him makes realize that in 5 months I will be holding a baby in my arms is a feeling hard to describe.

Tio Cesar decided to take some family pictures since we don't get to have all the grandchildren together that easily so here are a few shots of the family.

Afterwards we came to Abuelas house and las nenas got to jump in abus bed something they are not allow to do at home so might as well enjoy it for the next couple of days....what is best than Abuelas house is sad that I never had an abuela to enjoy like that, but I am so happy las nenas get to.

Like it was expected Samia got Nono to read to them from the moment they arrived.

Tio Fabio had gotten us tickets for Disney on Ice the princess so Samia was super excited about going to see them.  The show was gorgeous they all loved it even Abuela and Nono.

Brotherly Love!

So in a couple of days I will be in Miami with Abuela. Although I am super excited about seeing my mother I have to admit I am super excited I will be with my 2 brothers, Cesar like the thoughtfull guy that he always is would be there as well. What can I say I am a spoil sister, the last time we were together the 3 of us was for Milo's birth. I just love being with just the two of them, it reminds me of all of our childhood anecdotes.


I remember how Cesar wanted to be a priest and he would put Fabio and myself to be the ones attending mass I even remember receiving communion. I just have beautiful memories of the two of them, or like when they went to visit me in New York just the three of us in my tiny basement. Or when we drove cross country from Miami to Minnesota, or when we all met in Michigan. I know that for them being just with me is very important.


Being with them always makes me feel like the only girl around them, they always have taken so much care of me, and even though I am a grown woman and left home very early I have always done things in my life to make my brothers proud, I would never want my brothers to be disappointed of me. Now that I have two daughters I see things of Cesar in Samia she is very observant, quiet and very polite. I see things of Fabio in Gamila her none stop talking personality and her fearless personality.


Fabio you are always special with me just your look gives me energy, Cesar you always give me that sense of peace of knowing you will do anything for me, maybe I never told you this but having you with me when I gave birth to Samia marked my life, you took my mami's place.


Nenas is sad that we lost Amira and you only have uncles but trust me I know they would do anything for the two of you

Nenas look at tio Fabio's face like always planning something that mischievous face is his trademark.

Nenas here Tio Cesar like always taking care of us, always holding my hand, and embracing Fabio to guide him through the right path.

Hermanitos los amo y gracias por estar siempre conmigo y nunca juzgar mis aciones o decisiones.

Nenas always treasure your siblings is the longest relationship you would have, love them, respect them, take care of them, care for them, be sensitive to them, don't be judgemental, talk to them, never impose yourself, accept them no matter what!!!

Landscape with Tio Fabio

Like Tio Fabio always says "Everything comes to an end" and yesterday it did, he left with his family, like always tears are involved is just so hard to see him leave it breaks my heart. I am so happy he came and I got to meet Jenniffer what a great girl, they are both a lucky couple and little Charlie would be a very special boy having them for his parents.

Crystal what can I say polite, sweet she is just every parents dream child. The goodbye was a difficult specially when Samia would not stop crying for her Tio, it was so pleasing hearing them scream "Tio" as they were waving their little hands goodbye.

Tio helped us so much around the house on Friday and Sunday we finish the garden. Him and I work all day Friday and half of day Saturday, I even put cement something I had never done in my life but I guess is those little things that come along with being home owners.

Fabio and I designed the landscape on the front and around the side, we also did a little corner with lava rock and put a bird feeder we mainly wanted to block and entrance.

While Tio Fabio and I did the landscape the girls enjoy the pool, Gamila you lost the fear of the pool Crystal got you in there and your fear was gone.



I have two flower beds right when I come out of the house, we also have a key lime tree in a corner and another fruit on the other corner, some palms and 3 rose plants in the front and another 3 on the side, it was so much work but so worth it is amazing how the landscape in a house can change is facade.

Yesterday we just lay low in the house cooking and I had made a cake for Tio Fabio since his birthday is tomorrow I wanted to celebrated before he left, and we also took out time to take silly pictures and just goof around. Crystal loves to walk around the camera taking pictures of us in all of our crazy moves.

Nenas I just pray to God that the same love I share for my brothers is what you guys would share when you grow up

Family fun!

My brother and his family arrived on Thursday we had accomplish so much around the house that would be a different post that I will show later, but along so much work we have being having such a great time the kids had so much fun playing with Crystal, their tio and Jennifer.

Samia has focus in her dancing skills with Crystal and she has teach her some new moves. Tio Fabio just enjoys being with his nieces kissing them and spoiling them. Jeniffer is a great cook, I am telling you she has made great food.

Is just so much fun waking up and knowing the house if full, usually we are so alone all the time, but having people over is the best is nothing like family and good friends, yesterday Bonnie and the girls came over they got to meet my family and the kids played like always.

Baba has work this whole weekend, but I know he wishes he could stay with us working around the house like we have done. Fabio is great doing home improvements he came in look at the house and said we need this this and off we were. I have learn so much from him the last couple of days. Not because he is my brother but this kid is so smart, I know kid at the age of 33.

Far away family!!!

Finally I am back to myself. Thank God perfect timing Tio Fabio along with his wife and Crystal would be arriving this Thursday Inshallah...I am beyond myself and Samia you have plans for Crystal already she is suppose to teach you all of her dancing moves. Crystal is being dancing for the past 4 years making it to competitions as well. She is one of those kids you want your children to be...polite, beautiful, kind, intelligent etc.


This past weekend Tio Fabio with his family, Abuela y nono, Tio Cesar and his family were able to get together in Orlando for a performance Crystal had a dance perfomance in one of the parks..I would had love  to go but when you have two little girls driving for hours in a car specially for a short trip is something you think more than once.

Here are a few of the pictures of Tio Fabio, Cesar Abuela and all of them, we never realize how much we miss our family till they are not with us.  Is funny but there are is not a day that my brothers or my mom don't cross my mind is like an involuntary action, it just happens.

 

  

  

  

Wedding bells!!!

Nenas tio Fabio got marry a couple of months back but I had not gotten hold of the pictures till a few days back. We had plan to go but with baba's training and our move it was hard making it to Miami.

But hopefully when the baby is born we would be there, it would be the first grandson in the family...wow Mau you finally did it.
