Handy family!

Let's start by saying SI MAMI DESDE EL 21 NO PONGO FOTOS NUEVAS...SORRY!

Abuela call me this morning telling me that since the 21st there are no new pics and she knows there are many new things around the house.


Let's start by saying that we have being very very bussy, we have being submerge in paint, sand, pavers, treee branches, card stock, paint swatch paper, water, mud etc etc.

This project was started over a month ago, first we put sand all over the area we wanted to make the patio, then baba put down the pavers, I put the sand and sweep it baba mist with water is a long tedious process. Afterwards we had to put the border I did this yesterday and today I could barely move my arms from hammering. We love the way it looks!!!! We also went to the extend of redoing plant pots out of the containers we got the sand in.

While we work las nenas have fun being silly they just love to hang around when we are working.

We also wanted to paint the doors around the house, since we purchase the house in such a hurry we were never happy with the color it was a dull green color. So we first wanted a terracotta color we gear up and got it and when we tried it in the door it looked orange...so at this point we just went with a brown color more common and we knew it gas going to look good. We did the door and the rim. We still have the front door, plus the patio door, this is one is the car port.

On friday I went over my friends Bonnie house and she recently painted her house and it look great and soon she would be doing her girls room .....I left her house thinking I need to do some painting in las nenas room. But I was not 100% sure, plus the girls are growing up so fast, that they likes change, and I have to admit I hate seeing the same decor all the time. So I started thinking what I could do. I had seen this bird mobiles, they use real tree branches and I love the idea. So then I started looking at decor pages in the internet and here and there I took some ideas and came out with this. Everything is made out of card stock and the paint little papers you find in the paint department at Lowe's. It was funny Saturday I spend the whole morning picking up little color papers, baba was like Mistika they are going to stop us with all the ones you pick.


I have never being a drawer but I was amaze how was able to draw the different types of butterflies and the little birds silhouettes. I also attached everything with the removable glue dots, this way when ever I want to take it down is easy. I think if I send $4 in this decoration was allot.

I guess I am gettting older and proving myself I can draw!!!!!

Dialogs of a 3 year old.

Yesterday while we were in Lowes getting some stuff Samia said she needed some flowers but they had to be pink for a princess like her.

However today we had a small conversation that made me cry. I finally got around to hanging an embroidery Titi Mio made and she gave it to me when she teach me how to embroidery. I love that picture frame it reminds me of her and I love seeing it in my room.

When Samia came across it
Samia "Mami thank you for this beautiful frame"

Mami "Titi Mio made it"

Samia "Mami when is she coming?"

Mami "She is not coming she is in the sky with God"

Samia places her hands in her waist and then proceeds to tell me "Mami how we are going to get there?"

Mami "Not sure we can go there"

Samia "I know the pilot in the plane can take us to see titi Mio"

By now I had tears coming down my cheeks...these are the moments it hits me that she is not here and las nenas never got to meet her. I will love to have a boy but having another girl and naming her Amira would be so beautiful. She was a such an special girl.

The remodeling continue today we are actually working in a big project that is going to take us a couple of days but after finishing it we would be like having a new dinner room.
We also created a little Mediterranean corner. I have to admit I am in love with it and so are the girls.

So yesterday I went to the Dr. and it like expected I got pain killers and muscle relaxers. I do feel much better even before the medicines but I can not wait to be 100% good. They also send me to physical therapy but I don't think I will do it.

Today I have slept most of the day I hate feeling like this and when I am not sleeping I am looking around seeing all of the To Do Projects I have around the house.

• Finish Milo's duvet
• Decorate the playroom
• Decorate the girls room
• Do flowers in the front
• Fix my closet
• Fix the storage
• Work in the yard
• Finish enpapelando los gabinetes

And the list can go on and on....So espalda fix yourself and fast so I can start working.

Milo now is just me at home baba and Samia went to soccer is so nice being alone with you and hearing you little voice say "Thank you mami" every time I give you something you always make sure to thank, I just love that, specially when I hear that soft voice say those words.

Milo you love being with your sister the first thing you say when you wake up is SAMIA and I can guarantee you is the last word as well.

I am also excited my tio Fabio would be visiting us Inshallah next week with his family.

Woman = fun drama

Today I was carefully looking at my two girls interact and I was then thinking wow woman are fun. And then I started to think every time you put 2 woman together you get a little bit of everything drama, fights, comparison. Why are we woman so so complex that even we don't understand ourselves sometimes.

Seriously how many times do you hear "I got into a fight with my best friend coming from a woman I will venture to say toooo often...When do we hear the same from a man almost never.

Woman are never happy we always find a something we dislike, we see, we feel and we hear things that maybe a man would not hear or see. We notice everything what she is wearing what she smells like they copy my ideas, they don't understand me, they envy me and the list can go on and on.

And this being said I guess baba has to get ready for what is ahead of him, although he had some first hand experience after all guido spend most of his time in Emirates and baba was home with Zetu, Suzu and titi Mio, so he is being around girls all his life.

On another note, nenas Abuela left yesterday it was a little sad is just that last goodbye in the airport that always gives me that uneasy feeling like what if something happens to her but I will stop now or else I will start crying. However I should be happy after all she would be coming back in about 6 weeks with the move.

The move that is moving along, we finally found a home that is almost finish being build so it does gives us the option to change a few things. So inshallah by the middle of May we will moving into the new home, I am a bit excited although I think everything is going so fast from building our home and having to wait almost a year now we are moving to another home and in a new town but like they say No hay mal que por bien no venga.
