Duende and mushroom!

Yesterday I was finally able to finish the design I had done in Samia's dress. Over the weekend I sew this for her and baba drew the little duende and the mushroom. I wanted to embroider it for her, I had never done this but I went on line and check the types of stitches and voila it took no time and I have to admit it was relaxing to do.

By the time I finish she was sleeping but this morning when I showed it to her she was thrill like always so happy to see it so many expressions in her face I just love doing things for her. Milo I have not finish yours, but you wanted to wear your sisters dress as well and give us your happy faces like you call them. Here are a few examples of your happy faces
Samia Guido send you a package from Egypt and we received it today he send you a little set of earrings and bracelets and like you can imagine you do not want to take them off, however I do have to say by the time I am writing this we are already missing an earring and you already broke a bracelet.

Samia today when we sat down to have dinner you said to me "Mami this soup is fantastic" you also mention how the potatoes had being so well cooked.

Milo you are trying so hard to use the potty but for some reason you fear it you sit on it, and want to do number 2 but you try and nothing, then I put your pamper on and when you want to do number two you ask me to go to the potty again but nothing, hopefully you will get better at.

Milo these are some of the things that come out of your mouth:

When baba is trying to get you out of the tub, he says "Let me hold you" you will answer "No I hold you"
"I do it for everything" oh the other day you fell of your booster chair, now every time you get close to it your words are "I fall off" You have the sweetest voice my milo linda!

On another note today we got awaken by some crazy guy or girl that decided to fly their little one engine plane in top of our subdivision. It was so scary this plane was flying maybe 15 feet above the roof of some of our homes.

Milo's dress, Samia hoop, Dance away!

I being getting back to my routine, I am not so tired like at the beginning of the pregnancy plus las nenas are back in their schedule. Bed time 7:30 their nap and now with Samia in school is amazing how many things can get accomplish I being sewing allot. Since every time I do decided to do something for Milo it does not work, I decided to make it up myself and just follow my own directions. I made my own pattern, had a few moments of doubt but I made it and I am so proud of it, plus my Milo is so in love with it.

Today was Samia's first day of dance school, when we first spoke about dance school I explained to Samia that it would be ballet and Tap and right away she told me only ballet I don't like tap. I immediately though the moment she is in there she is going to love it, and it happen today she did not want to leave her ballet she wanted to stay for the tap.

I love to embroidery also but every time I pick up my hoop and needle the drama with Samia starts, so today I decided I was going to teach her how to do it, maybe this way she can let me do it. When baba arrived from work I had him fix the needle cut the tip so it would not pinch her. I went ahead and ask her what she wanted to embroidery and she said a princess. I put my drawing skills to the work and I came up with a distorted princess picture but she loved it. We teach her baba and me and it kept her entertain for a very long time, and by her facial expressions I could tell she was enjoying her self. The best of this activity was seeing baba enjoying himself with a hoop and a needle in his hands.

UFF finally finish

Back in 2004 when I visit Egypt, Amira gave me a beautiful embroidery she had made. It was so beautiful I told her I wanted to learn. She explained to me that a girl had teach her to do it, so like always Mio with that great disposition took me to buy the fabric, thread, pattern, and started to teach me how to do it. I learn that it was very time consuming...She went ahead and made to drawings for me. I started it in Egypt but I have to confess I did not do anything after came back. When we found out Amira had die I promise I will finish at least one of them, so I have being working on it at night and this past week that Abuela was here I was finally able to finish it. I want to finish the other design and have them frame and hopefully hang them in our new house.
