Indian Cuisine - Flower fever

So today we had an Indian meal at home it was fun making it and not having to go to the Indian restaurant.. the girls love it and so we did! And to make it a theme dinner mami even decided to play some Indian music it was awesome!!!!

We made Tandoori chicken and the Palak Paneer

Tandoori Chicken

Chicken - 6 pieces I used dark meat with some cubes of white meat
Yogurt Plain - 1 1/2 cups, well beaten
Ginger Paste - 1 tbsp
Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder - 1/4 tsp
Paprika - 1/2 tsp
Tandoori Masala- 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Red Food Color - 2 drops, optional
Green Chili - to taste, ground
Lemon Juice - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste

Take the chicken wash it and mix it with the lemon.

On the side prepare the mixture mixing all the ingredients with the yogurt.

After mixing everything let it marinate for 8 hours.

Then put the oven on 450 it would be great to do in the barbecue. If you do it in the oven flip it every 25 minutes we flip it two times.

Once the onion-garlic-ginger are brown add the tomatoes and let it cook - stir it occasionally

Take the cheese and put it in a paper towel to take some of the oil out, then put it in cold water so it becomes hard and the rest of oil is drain.

Then add the spinach to the masala mixture meaning the onion, garlic, ginger and tomato.

Let it cook in low for a while

Wallah
Acko time
After our feast mami is washing the dishes and then I come across my enemies in the kitchen the sippy cups..I hate them. Maybe because I am the only maniac that spends hours cleaning them literally I dissect them. First the straws I hate the stuff that gets inside of them (I can not believe there is not a tool that cleans them) so I take out my shish kabob sticks and start cleaning them, baba thinks I am insane. I try putting them in the dishwasher to try and see if is better than my manual routine. But no the residue still there. Then I try to clean the top with toothpicks. I know I know I am just a freak! is amazing how motherhood is such a great a job the only bad things are those little cleaning task.
Yesterday I got side tracked with my music memoirs so I did not have time to post some of the pictures of the party or better off in the way to the party. I also made Gamila the pants with the shirt, I really don't care for those big ruffles in her pants but I did not have enough fabric so I had to make them a bit longer, I know they are IN STYLE, but to me it looks more like a walking tiny midget clown with the ruffle in the pants, I hope I grow to love them.
The plant is getting helwa awy like Samia would say...is working our tulips are getting bigger Samia is very excited over it - I even have the flower fever I am going to buy one for me..is hard resisting those flowers -- Thanks to Target I don't have a garden again this spring so now baba has to live with my indoor garden!

Great dinner ! I wish I was invited, I love Chicken Tandoori and here in SIngapore, or England, we can get them so easily and halal that nobody bothers to try them at home...
There is nothing wrong with the pants, and no, there is no midget clown anywhere, I love your girls in their newly sewn clothes, I wish I had talents like yours. Well done You!
