Blooming and running behind eggs!

Everything is blooming is just so gorgeous, rejuvenating is something I can not explain makes you want to be outside the whole day and just look at them. I have to admit we are doing things outside as much as we can since later on I know is going to be hard because of the humidity.

My roses finally came I was a bit afraid that after the cold weather we had my roses bushes would not survive but they have started to bloom.

As I was taking pictures of my garden I came upon this flower and I found a lizard in top of it.  It was just great Samia fell in love with it, she could not believe it.

We also did a little egg hunt for the girls outside and they did very good looking for their little eggs is the first time we do something like that, Samia was so into it.

Roll the spring

A few things have being going on here mami got hit with a horrible stomach bug..I think the last time I felt like this was when I got sick with a stomach bug when I was pregnant with Samia, I was in bed for exactly 24 hours with the chills and visiting the bathroom every hour.  Thank God Guido and Zetu are here to help me if not I don't know if I could have done it.

There are several things going around the house lately we are in a planting mode, I have started a vegetable container garden would post pictures and my advances later on.  However Samia and I started some seed planting here at home even Zetu teach Samia the beauty of bean growing.

I started the seeds for tomatoes and strawberries I am doing the ones that hang never done them before would try this year if it really works, keep your fingers cross.  I am also enjoy seeing how SAmia is so involved in the process of the seeds and seeing them grow.

The other day while Samia was in school Guido and Gamila  were playing like usually running around and laughing when all of the sudden they are no were to be found or heard and wallah this is what I found,,,it was so cute

Amir you are growing so fast you are starting to spend more time awake now which is nice but also an adjustment since I have to learn to divide my time well between the 3 of you and now with Amir awake I am trying to incorporate him more and more.  Amir my boy I think everything you eat goes to your cheeks...wow you do have cheeks and you make the funniest faces when you sleep.

Landscape with Tio Fabio

Like Tio Fabio always says "Everything comes to an end" and yesterday it did, he left with his family, like always tears are involved is just so hard to see him leave it breaks my heart. I am so happy he came and I got to meet Jenniffer what a great girl, they are both a lucky couple and little Charlie would be a very special boy having them for his parents.

Crystal what can I say polite, sweet she is just every parents dream child. The goodbye was a difficult specially when Samia would not stop crying for her Tio, it was so pleasing hearing them scream "Tio" as they were waving their little hands goodbye.

Tio helped us so much around the house on Friday and Sunday we finish the garden. Him and I work all day Friday and half of day Saturday, I even put cement something I had never done in my life but I guess is those little things that come along with being home owners.

Fabio and I designed the landscape on the front and around the side, we also did a little corner with lava rock and put a bird feeder we mainly wanted to block and entrance.

While Tio Fabio and I did the landscape the girls enjoy the pool, Gamila you lost the fear of the pool Crystal got you in there and your fear was gone.

I have two flower beds right when I come out of the house, we also have a key lime tree in a corner and another fruit on the other corner, some palms and 3 rose plants in the front and another 3 on the side, it was so much work but so worth it is amazing how the landscape in a house can change is facade.

Yesterday we just lay low in the house cooking and I had made a cake for Tio Fabio since his birthday is tomorrow I wanted to celebrated before he left, and we also took out time to take silly pictures and just goof around. Crystal loves to walk around the camera taking pictures of us in all of our crazy moves.

Nenas I just pray to God that the same love I share for my brothers is what you guys would share when you grow up

Broccoli Hair

I should start this post by saying what Samia thinks of Milo's hair "MAMI GAMILA'S HAIR LOOKS LIKE A BROCCOLI" Sorry Milo I try to keep it nice and neat but at times it surely looks like bushes.

One day this week the girls and I went to the Colombian restaurant it had being a while since we last went and when I was waiting for the food I saw a table of TEJO
Nenas I used to play Tejo with Abuelo when I was little, well I don't think I used to play but I loved to see Abuelo played. We used to have one in the farm and in every single place by the country side we will see one table is a very common game in Colombia or we would call it Sapo since there is a Frog shape in the middle of the table. Look at the picture, this boxes are also made in all colors I remember seeing them mainly in red and green.

We also went to get my glasses done, is so sad I have gotten more blind...I guess after the pre clampsia in both pregnancies my eyes took a beaten...nenas in no way I am blaming you I remember wearing glasses since I was 13 years old.

We also went to the party supply store just to browse and have some fun with the silly hats and glasses here is my Milo wearing some cute crazy glasses. Oh Milo lately when I say "We are three crazy " you respond "GGIILLLSS" ---- Also when I ask you "How old are you?" you respond "TTEESS" Three in Spanish...nena I think you are confuse with Samia's age
Silly faces
Abuela made this dress for you
Samia you have being taken so much care of your plants look at the tomatoes how they are growing and your mint today I made some Yummy Moroccan tea

Mix and Match

This would be a post with a little bit of everything.

For starters I am excited Mio Dolls made it all the way to Egypt and to Singapore, can not wait to see the little girls faces when they have their dolls. Is nice how everything is falling in place almost a year to Amira's anniversary and we have started to make more girls happy. Inshallah with the help of my friend Bonnie we would get more dolls out to Guatemala. I am also currently working on trying to get a connection with Brazil thru a very nice man from Columbia, SC. So it is working little by little we are making other little girls happy , and also a chance to teach our girls that there are others that might not be so fortunate as they are.

As of today we still don't know where we would living however that has not stop me from growing my indoor garden I had hopes of my garden in the new house, but for now I am marry to my 7 plants like Samia calls them:

1 mint
2 tomatoes
1 strawberry
3 flowers
She is in charge of watering them everyday, and truly it has work she enjoys seeing her plants, and is a nice exercise to give her some sense of routine.

The days have being gloomy and lots of rain so we have being staying home, the girls are starting to play more and more together however that also includes a phone call to Poison Control..no puedo creer que tuve que llamar (I can not believe I had to call poison Control)
Nenas you guys go from one extreme to the other from two little dress up princess to two little demolition buddies and to top it off how about a drink of Johnson and Johnson detangler. One moment we are playing, mami runs to the kitchen to start lunch and I come backs to broken pieces, mami runs to the kitchen to grab a bag so I can grab all of the broken pieces and then I find Gamila with the bottle and Samia sucking the thing to spray.
mami calmly calls Poison control...WHAT a GREAT service, one more reason to LOVE this country. I am amaze the customer service, the patience, this people are great..I am telling you I don't even think they have this in my country and if they do, they would say something like Hi, Mami please let me have your form of payment before we start the dialog. The gentleman even had me call an hour later...this are the things that make this country great.

After the whole episode pass thank God we did not have any of the symptoms the poison control told me to expect just judge by their faces no side effects:
THIS IS WHAT A LITTLE JOHNSON AND JOHNSON CAN DO!

Okey nenas a couple of weeks back mami decided to sew for her, yes for big mami and I did it, I sew this nice boho, gypsy pants. I was a bit afraid for the sewing specially going out with them, what if I sit and the stitches go off and then my behind is exposed in the middle of the street. I know I am insane but that was my fear what if my sewing is not strong enough for my nice overproportion curves. So to avoid all of these I decided I will wear a long shirt to cover my derriere just in case and for plan B I had a sweater in my bag so if the unthinkable happen I could wrap it around my waist.

And to wrap this up, I saw this kind of art craft a couple of months back in a Spanish craft website and I had to do it. Is all made out of thread no sewing just tape and thread is a bit time consuming but I think is hard to find something like this. I was thinking of making some and selling them just to be able to pay for the postage charges to mail my dolls.
