Friends for ever

The other day our friend Bonnie came with her nenas we had so much fun it had being a while that we could not meet first they went on vacation then it was our turn and now with las nenas going to school it makes it very difficult to meet and have some fun.  I guess that as the children get older there is no more time for playdates ..the truth that I enjoy the school routine at least I know what I am going to do every morning. I just hope that we could take the same picture a couple of years from now, I have no words to express the love I have for those nenas and their mother she is such a special lady...always there.

This week I will have my surgery and Abu is coming to stay with us for some days very excited about that.

Is amazing how much school has already help Gamila she can now sit and play with her sister doing her own activity not harassing Samia.  I can already see the progress is amazing how much kids learn.

Amir you love to chew in your little fruits I love the faces you even make, I know you are not going to care for this when you grow up but tomorrow you will be 7  months and you are eating pretty much everything of course no eggs, honey and the no no's for your age, but I cook here at home and everything gets turn into puree and you love it.

Los 3 ojos

All of us here at home use the red little string...I have always tried to find something that matches I had originally gotten them for las nenas, abuela and myself however the girl I purchase them from was nice enough to send me some extra ones, so baba has one and I am just waiting for Amir to get a little bigger to have his.  The girls love having the same bracelet mami and baba have...LAs nenas and I call it Power Girls..

 Samia you love to make faces and pose for mami...well I have to admit most of the time I have to bribe you.

 Here is my ojitos laying down with mami, Gamila you are so head strong but you can also be so so lovable is just hard to resist you at times.

 This little man is driving all of us nuts at home just look at Zetu here holding you she is so in love with you.

 On Sunday we went to Samanthas's birthday. She is such an adorable girl sweet and las nenas love her dearly...they also love Dora so the girls had a blast.

Friends over

The past few days our house has being a mini daycare we took care of Alexandra and Samantha it was a nice experience Samia and Gamila had lots of fun with their friends.  I wont lie it was a bit challenging at times but with lots of patience it was done.  The girls did all kind of things allot of it outside.

 This too are too funny from beating up each other they go to this, kids after all.

 This two also interact very well!

 They love the water balloon fights, and so did I.

Amir my little man is doing good changing allot but I love holding him and feeding him, the peace he gives me after dealing with my other rascals is priceless.

Egg hunt and jump rope

Today we had a little Easter Party a little one with our friends, we did not fill the eggs with candy the girls really don't know what is suppose to be there so we cut out the girls names in little papers, grapes and a few candies.


After the girls collected all of the eggs we had the girls open the eggs and find all of the letters of their name, the love it and I think is a great way to help them with their letters and spelling of their name.

Oh I should also mention Samia and Alexandra play pretend that they were wearingmake up Yes they got hold of some pen and painted their eyes....


Oh Samia this morning while I was taking a shower you started going thru my jewelry box and you kept on looking at my rings and trying them on, asking me when I got it and if she will get that red diamond when she grows up......I just love it is amazing how fast time is going on, I can not believe you are already asking me when you will get all of my jewelry.  And YES my nenas you guys would get my jewelry like I got many of the pieces from Abu and some from titi Mio's as well.

Food, Cake and friends

Things are getting little by little into a routine, yesterday baba was craving crawfish although mami can not eat it I agree and told him to get me shrimp instead little did we know that Abuela was going to like crawfish so the two had a feast.  Is amazing how you become accustom to food from the places we get to live in I think that when we move baba would miss his crawfish.

Amir is doing great at this point I can compare him to Samia as long as he has a full belly he sleeps with no complains.  I remember Gamila at this age was already me run around. I also notice Amir was getting a bit yellow today so we kept him by the window, tomorrow we will go to the Dr. for his check up and I will ask about that.

Today was Bonnie's birthday I had originally plan different but with the surprise we had we had change of plans we had a nice time we did a mini party with the girls and they got to meet Amir that by the way the were so excited of seeing him.

Recap

Can not lie even though I being a bit uncomfortable because of my size I have enjoyed the last couple of days.  

On Wednesday baba went out of town so I was left alone we decided to go and have a sleepover at Bonnie's the girls were so happy about it specially Samia since on Thursday Samia had to wear her pajamas to school. I did not believe her since I have never done that in my life she kept on telling me and I kept on telling her no Samia you don't go out in your pajamas. She was so persistant that at a point I figure she was right so I called the school just to double check and surely enough everybody wears they pj's to school...WOW I was amazed but the truth I love it, I wish we would had that when I was growing up. 

After school we headed over our friends house we had so much fun the girls slept together and loved it. On the other hand we sew a little crochet and just had fun talking up to late, it actually reminded me of when I was younger and would stay up to late talking to my friends when they would come over to sleep. For some reason Abuela never allow me to sleep overs others house. 

Also on Thursday I visited the Dr. everything is on schedule I have even lost weight not sure how it happens but I think that with las nenas I am always moving around so really no way to stack up the weight. We have tentative schedule the birth for the 3/3/2010 (the only thing I being able to come up with the numbers is that is divisable by 3 and maybe born 3rd month on the 3rd day but that is about it....mami and her numbers)

I have also being sewing a bit and crocheting I was able to finish some sets of napkins for the house we love using the fabric ones the girls enjoy fixing the table, and by me making them we get to pick the colors we like. The baby also got some new onesies I did a bit applique nothing fancy just enough to splash the whites with some kind of color. I was also able to finish some booties with a little hat, I have to admit I love crocheting. Actually Bonnie tried to teach me to knit and I could not get the hang of it. 

Samia lately we have being talking allot you and me and I have notice how much new things you know now. Is amazing how fast your mind is developing, for instance when we read to you at night you know must of the books by memory already, just by flipping the page you can say it out loud. I don't think you recognize the words you just know the whole page. You know how to write your name and spell it, you also know the whole alphabet and I notice you can count all the way to 50. I am not to strict with the teaching I figure everything comes at the time it has to come so little by little. I have also notice you are understanding more and more the languages and sometimes even venture to speak it. 

Milo on the other hand you are so talkative you have finally overcome that stage you had of not being too verbal, however is hard to understand you at time but you get your point across. Your attitude has improve tremendously not sure if it that you fear the chancla or you are just growing up, however I do see allot of baby stuff in you.

Santa ~ Felt ~ Run amiga

This past Thursday Santa found Samia's school with his GPS she was so hype over sitting in his lap, I think I have hear the story a million times.  He said that he was making a list, that he liked her dress, that she has to be a good girl etc etc etc. 

That Thursday morning she was worry that Santa was not going to be able to sit in her chair so she was worry where he was going to sit.  When we made it to the drop lane and one of the teachers open the door to get her out...the first thing she said was "Where is Santa going to sit?"

Lately I being working with felt none stop I am working in a big Christmas gift for the girls I will venture to say that I am about 80% done it has being many sleepless nights and allot of drawing something that had always being afraid of but I am getting more comfortable at it.  While at it I decided to make little felt book for a present.  Samia loves to play with hers but I had never done the ocean or the sky I think I will make one for her, since she is in love with the animals that live in the ocean.

Tomorrow is suppose to be a cold day and if it would not be that Gamila breaks out in Eczema when is cold we would be screaming

My good friend Bonnie is running her first half marathon...oh I so wish I would not be pregnant I don't think I could do a marathon that is unless she agrees to push me after a while, but I am hoping once I give birth we could do a 5K with me...I am a jogger not a runner like her.
