Sisters in Crime, Al Aanfoushi, Otro dia!

So Friday we went to Old Alexandria once again to finish our shopping, and Yehia told me an interesting story back iin 1920 in this area called Labban there were 2 sisters that were serial killers, the story goes that this two sisters from Upper Egypt made they way to this poor neighborhood with their husbands and they set up some kind of brothel, Raya and Sakina would lured the woman and they would kill them to steal their jewelry. With the help of their husbands, they killed like 7 woman and were found guilty like 2 years later and killed.

So the market that day was crazy the busiest I have seen it hard to describe just like when you watch an arabic movie and you see this markets full of people in the side walks and in the streets that even the cars have a hard time passing by. You find allot of people selling stuff in the street and screaming advertising their merchandise you find all kind of stuff, purses, shirts, shorts, things for the house, fabric, gold, silver you name it you find it in this markets.
Before we left Samia and Gamila were having fun playing with their grandparents here are a few of the pictures. Samia was trying to catch a little butterfly inside the house
