Again.....

The summers days are long and is just so hot outside that I have to come up with ideas to keep Samia away from the TV and Gamila...so the other day while at a craft store we came across and apron, for some reason I always want and apron but I never get to buy it....I always tell baba buy it as a gift and it never happens. 

Then when I saw this white apron I remember all the fabric markers tio Fabio gave us the last time he came over and I figure Samia and Gamila could draw one for me and make them draw one each year as they grow up.  I was glad it kept them very busy for a good part of the afternoon.

Amir yesterday you turn 5 months gosh time flies.  You are a such a good baby happy all the time and you love to eat and be held while we watch TV...oh nene and thank you, you are letting mami sleep the whole night from 7:30 I put you down till about 7:00 the next morning, you also take 2 naps during the day....although nene I am sorry sometimes the going out to pick up your sisters can mess up your schedule but I guess that is the 2nd and 3rd child syndrome.

My vegetable garden has come to an end the Zucchini plant gave up on me, however Amir you did get to eat them I made you some baby food the tomato plant still giving me a few tomatoes, I still have the Anaheim pepper and some okra.  The other day I took the oregano and I dry it up.


I first wash it very carefully
I then let it dry and with a piece of dental floss I made little bunches
Then I let it outside to dry for a couple of days
Then I separated the leaves and put it my condiment rack...and wallah we have oregano for the rest of the year.

 When does mami rest? not much during the day however when I finally put down everybody at night I am usually tired and I just want to catch a movie or watch my novelas ...they are some good ones now days....I can not wait for las nenas to get older and watch them with me...now is baba the one who is always hearing me rant about them..although he does not speak spanish he is always interested in my novelas...now I am watching....Donde esta Elena.....Rosario Tijeras


However since my nenas love to wake up so so so early something like 6:30 AM I staring to put them to take a nap during the day at least 30 minutes...however when I do get to do that I have Amir awake...although I tend to take him to his room and lay him in the bed he loves to watch everything in there is so full of color.

Dangerous......keep away or in other words be careful with Gamila.yesterday while I was in the room changing Amir and baba was with Samia in the bathroom...Gamila decided she wanted to drink something and she needed a glass...I had never seeing her doing this but I had notice that she would come out with a glass out of nowhere...so yesterday when I heard the chair move I knew it had to be her so I came outside I catch this...of course I had to tell her never to do it again...she can fall and I don't want to even think about it...so now I put the glasses low that way she can always serve herself water....

La porrista a lo inglish The Cheerleader - I want food

Lets start by Samia since Monday nena you have being attending a Cheerleader Camp it is teach by the Nicholls University Cheerleader it was really nice and I could tell you really enjoy it.

Today was her show she did very well I was actually impress for only 3 days 4.5 hours everyday they learn allot.  I went to the presentation with Amir and Gamila, I was impress how well they behave specially since it was a long event.

 Gamila was trying to imitate their moves.  Nenas you guys get so sad every time one is drop off and the other is not.

I know I have said this before but sometimes my mind is not the best bathing three children, drying them up dressing them up brushing their hair and teeth is not a smooth ride sometimes and mami misses things or maybe overlooks some stuff like Gamila's shoes: The other day I put Gamila's tennis shoes to my surprise 10 hours later I realize Gamila was wearing one of her tennis shoes and the other was Samia's   I do recall   the shoes coming off two times during the day, and Samia mentioning Gamila had her shoes on and I told her you silly girl...well the SILLY MAMI was me.

Amir last time I took you to the Dr. she did mention about starting you in solids I had tried a couple of weeks ago with a little piece of banana but you were not ready well to my surprise last night I tried with a little cereal and juice and boy did you enjoy your self getting a different taste in your mouth even your sister enjoy feeding you.

What happens when Amir eats

Can not lie it is being a bit busy around the house but nothing that we can not handle.  Baba was off yesterday and Amir decided to stay awake the whole day and eat and eat and eat I guess is a grow spur, also his nights have being very awake, at time I am fully awake with him while I breast feed at times I am half asleep like we say in Spanish "Pescando en seco" meaning fishing on dry ground.


Today baba was suppose to be off but had to go in to work so is actually my first day completely alone so far so good let's see what the day holds ahead however a few funny things happen today...for instance while I breast feed Gamila decided to hide in one of the kitchen cabinets actually where we keep the garbage, she would not want to get out so I had to sit in the kitchen floor and feed Amir while she played peekaboo with Samia.

Is funny but every time I feed Amir something goes on so I have opted to give them some kind of activities while I breast feed so I know they are not being mischievous...but I guess it does not really work.  I set up their markets with paper to draw and paint but a few minutes later this what showed up in the living room.

Amir you are growing and getting more and more handsome what can I say I am in love with my little man.

Amir you love to take baths yesterday baba took the time to bath you and you too were enjoying each others company.

just a few things that have happen lately that I think are funny and I know you guys would love to read when you are older.


-Mami was cutting baba's hair (the picture of baba bathing Amir is before me screwing up) and I royally screw up making a line like those designs people get done in their hair, don't ask me how it happen well baba had to shave his hair off.


-While abuela was here we went to New Orleans to do some shopping and have a nice dinner just the two of us, well can you believe that since we don't usually carry cash, we got into an expressway and realize there was a toll and we had no money.
We were so embarrass but at the same time we could not stop laughing that in our mid thirties we had no money to pay a toll, thank God the attendant was so nice that she let us go.


-Last night while we were cleaning our floor  we had the girls in our room in our bed so baba kept on going in there to check on them in one of those occasions he told Samia:


Baba "Samia I have a camera and I can see everything you do in here"


Samia - Where is the camera? What color can you see me?


Baba - Is a secret

Samia- Well if you have a camera I have special glasses that can see everything too.

At this point baba could not stop laughing and just drop the subject.

Amir made into this world on Thursday February 18, 2010 at 7:20 AM he weight 6.12 lbs and 19 inches long.


It all happen so fast but the most important part is that he is doing okey as well as myself. We were not expecting him till March 3rd but my body decided differently like we had anticipated.


I had a feeling this was going to happen on Tuesday I had a terrible night restless, tired, and just not feeling right. Wednesday morning we fixed the bag since I had a high risk Dr. appointment and I just had a feeling I was not going to go back home. When I arrived at the appointment that is actually at the hospital once they took my blood pressure and notice it was high, he decided that the safest thing to do is to keep me here and deliver either later today or next day.

Now with me at the hospital I started making my phone calls, we had already come out with a plan Bonnie would keep the girls and we would flight my mom thank God for tio Cesar he took care of that. By 4 o'clock baba and mami were at the hospital waiting for the Dr. to decided when I will deliver, they finally figure that I could hold it one more night and deliver on Thursday morning by then Abuela would be here.


The night was rough I was giving a horrible medication call Magnesium it makes you feel horrible plus also the anxiety of meeting my boy the next night made it a long and restless night...I was also praying allot so I could be very calm during my C-section since in my last one I had a panic attack that complicated things.


Morning came and they started prepping me up..I did fabulous I was so calm I could not even believe myself I think baba was about to faint he was so nervous for me, but we did great and most importantly we have a healthy boy and mami is feeling great.


Baba was not able to hold Amir so instead Abu was giving the honor of holding our boy for the first time after that is just being family time Bonnie came with las nenas and they have enjoy their brother so much. The first night Abu stayed with me a the hospital like always and Samia decided that she could stay as well and she did fabulous.


Amir did great that first night with us waking allot for feedings but like it is expected. Friday Abuela stayed with las nenas at the house and baba and mami took care of Amir that night. Saturday I was send home and here we are...today we had our first birthday party like we have always done this with las nenas..we buy a cake and have a mini first birthday.

What can I say is great Samia is a a great big sister, she sings she talks she wants to change pampers she even said mami is a Cow because she makes milk.



Gamila you are semi interested in him at times you want him and at times you forget he even exist.



Baba is beyond himself he loves his boy and is so happy for all of us.



Mami is so thankful that I being given chance to hold him in my arms while having my nenas, baba and Abuela next to me is the best gift.



I also want to thank so many good wishes I have received the last couple of days I know I have not responded to many post, but I just could not resist holding my baby at all times.
